"And we are His portion and He is our prize"
Shouldn't that be the other way around? "Portion" implies need, and we need God, not the other way around. "Prize" could go either way, I suppose, but implies something that's delightful to have, not necessarily a need.
Basically, the Bible talks about God's people as His "portion", in places like Deuteronomy 32:9. A "portion" is something set aside for someone, and does not necessarily imply need.
