GOD, I love this song so much. Adam Dubberly is a beast.
First off, "bad to kiss you" is actually "masochistic," which means "A willingness or tendency to subject oneself to unpleasant or trying experiences." Also, "but it's more painful than I'd ever like to have it" is "but it's more painful than I'd like to admit."
Let's take it verse by verse...(some of these are going to sound obvious, sorry)
"Since March of last year, everytime I go to sleep,

That last line, however, him saying that he thinks they should get back together - he isn't over her. "Just last week and also last September, could either mean that they broke up and then got back together OR reiterate the fact that it's still incredibly fresh on his mind.
And then the chorus, and the la la la's.
