Lyric discussion by junus

I think this song may be written from the point of view of a dog, living with a couple who are miserable together. the line "it's hard to wait outside when she is gone" and the fact that he/she claims to be sleeping at the foot of the bed made me think of a dog. The 'whoa-o-o-o-o-o-o's even remind me of a dog howling.

Thoughts?

interesting; i can see what you're saying. it's possible. although, the whoa's really have no involvement, imo.
