Now it's easy to say this song is about sex. But i like to look at it all a a metaphor for fame. I feel like it is about Brand New getting all sorts of attention and fame (the girl, sex) when they really didn't want it all and just wanted to enjoy the music. They feel like they are being forced into the spotlight of mainstream, perhaps why their more recent stuff is a little darker and less mainstream.
