I would have to agree with moonpainter. I interpret this song from someone who deals with elevated anxiety, who has thoughts they cant control that echo thru your head. "Here comes that shit again" is the uncontrolable thoughts that race thru your head in a situation. A jack-o-lantern has a glowing head when lit. If you've ever experienced high anxiety that's exactly what it feels like....inflamed or glowing feeling in your mind that is so hard to turn off. Thats how I read it. The "highs" can be like treats, but the mind can lead you into "tricks" or bad places that may feel good at the time, but utimately hurt you or fuck you up.
