i dont agree with zbaze at all,for the simple fact that, this is NOT a pop group!! they are clearly an indie group that is why they are so deep and original. dont comment on something you know nothing about. this is one of the best indie groups of our time, from start to finish there is not a bad song on the album, i also like the way they have brought there irish roots with a twist of british into the mix. they have married both our counties together in a way that 100 years of peace talks could not!

Mumford & Sons are not an Indie group, this fascination with calling everything indie these days needs to stop. They are clearly more suited to being labelled as folk rock, although id try and refrain from putting them clearly in any genre as they fuse quite alot of different styles together, pop, rock, blues & roots etc.

Dont start telling people they have no idea what they are talking about when clearly niether do you.

ok Burtyc, lets stop being so hypocritical. You say not to call them indie then say the are independent from any other genre. i agree with both they are folk (not rock) and that they fit into no other category. so lets just agree on Indie Folk. just chill out. "we are friends"

Mumford and Sons IS an indie group...seriously, take two seconds and check before spewing nonsense. I bought their CD here in New York, and the label they use here is Glassnotes which is an independent label...so despite them signing with Universal for wider releases they still have definitive indie ties.
