Nice comment ricbass78- there is that beautiful 'sarcasm' to the cheerful tone of the piece (especially in comparison to their other songs). I also think the chorus sounds similar to Kim Wylde's "Kids in America" hit from the 80s, again with a sarcastic twist on it.
