Well from what I got from the song. It seems to be a completely different then most people.
When she says "Bad Romance" I don't think it means something awful or terrible. She's saying "Bad Romance" Like in a bad romance novel. Where it's cheesy and tacky and overly predictable fluff. Where the main characters fall completely in love and run off into the sunset.... it's totally cliche
Ergo she sing:
"I want your love
I want your revenge
You and me could write
a bad romance"
During the verses she basically listing off cliche plot lines in romance novels
"I want your drama
The touch of your hand
I want you leather studded
Kiss in the sand."
And when she says things like
"I want your psycho
Your vertigo stick
want you in my rear window
baby it's sick..."
She makes all the references to horror movies by Hitchcock. She's basically saying that she wants ALL of him. The good the bad and the ugly. Parts of him that he'd rather hide from the world, parts of him that aren't considered good traits. Because she loves him that much.
It's not a BAD romance...
It's a bad romance!
fluffy, tacky, predictable, cliche bad romance. And she wants to write it with him....
