I like the idea that this is about sexual imorality, because I think it's great message. But I think it's about something else. There are some spoken words before the "you cut the chord today..." that say: "well then you thought wrong, because you can't serve God and money. You am serve one or the other."
Perhaps the "her" that the song talks about is supposed to be money. People think that it will make you happy, but it doesnt really.
Either way, this is a great song with a great message. It might be one of my favorites on the cd.
