For a year, I had a really big crush on a soccer player at school who was gorgeous and popular and had a lot of girls who liked him, and I always felt like he would never notice me or care if he did, because I was just like the rest of the random chicks who crushed on him. This song is basically exactly what I felt for him. "I'm no one special, just another wide eyed girl...". If only I'd heard it then to help me get through it, LOL.
