In my interpratation, a young man (or woman) who is in the prime of his youth feeling as though he's invincible and then becoming old and unable
And flowers they bloom
Again in my interpration the renewing of the 'diamond', a young boy (or girl) growing up and continuing the cycle.
Also the song is a loop of the same general lyrics and the fade out (not stop) also lead me to beleive the repeat of the cycle.
Although in retaliation of this style of interpration (Death, morning, mortality etc) French is the referred to as a language of love (as followed by Spanish and Irish). Although at the same time this could also be a refference to a loved one not just the excluded lover.
My opinion of this song is death and mortality.
