Has nothing to do with Liberalism--I'm a liberal and I know violence is sometimes necessary. It's like using antibiotics; it doesn't actually SOLVE the problem, it just makes it go away. Sometimes that's the only thing that can save your life, because there are problems in this world that can't BE solved--but relying on it the way we are right now is just weakening us, because the handful of problems that don't go away are just getting bigger and bigger. The song's about finally understanding and giving up on the kind of people who constitute such a problem--the Fundamentalists and Neocons of the world, the ones who can't just be talked down, the ones who are gonna kill half the human race and drag everyone else back into the Dark Ages if they aren't exterminated. Even a pacifist knows that sometimes, somebody just has to die.
i dont know. the title is war is the answer. and have you seen the album cover? i'd have to say it more then likley has to do woth whats goin on right with the war on terror, and theyre obviosly conservative. which i like very much!
