I interpret this song as a sort of... We do the same thing everyday. We don't try to change what's going on or who we are, it's all like a monotonous schedule that we perform everyday.
I take it this way because a lot of his songs seem to have some sort or universal meaning to them. I feel that it may have something to do with how we act in our everyday lives just doing what we're supposed to, and not trying to change how things are run or who we are as people.
