@Laito: I heard one of my friends say they thought he wasn't trying to save the people in Lamb and the Dragon, but that it happened on accident.

The line "I've got Dragons of my own" I think can be interpreted to mean either "My time machine is as powerful as a dragon" (which is really badass) and in that case it would mean he is planning to destroy the dragon OR it could be seen as the Traveler getting ready to leave, saying "I've got my own problems to deal with," in which case he would not be trying to save the people and the portal killed or transported the dragon somewhere instead of transporting him.
