"You were like my Hollywood movie"

this is her, knowing this guy, and falling in love with him .. and with the hope that things will play out as in a movie.

"Of course you would pursue me, I was Julia Roberts I mean, how could you resist?"

this is her hope, her dream, that just like any hollywood movie, where she's the star (e.g. julia roberts), he would also fall in love with her. because that's how hollywood movies are .. formulaic and simple.

"But you were looking for an orchid And I will always be a dandelion"

but unlike a hollywood movie, the love is not fated to happen ..

and from there, she just goes further depth about how she's not what he's looking for (and perhaps it's implied that he's missing out by not paying better attention), but she is who she is, and she's ok with that.

Exactly correct. It's got both the anguish of not being the one, but at the same time that not selling herself short. I don't know how many are actually capable of this sort of strength, but it is beautiful, even if it is a dream.
