I have been to see John Butler live and he states its about his "Princess and queen" those being his daugther and wife. However he now also dedicates this song to his son.
Anyone oout there PLEASE the next chance you have go and see him live, i cried!! Hes amazing live the stmosphere is overwhelming! He is a one of a kind man, musician. Its as though when he talks to the audience, that you know him personally as a friend. Hes what the human race should be like.
Also i was about 4 meters away from him so it was all very overwhelming!
