um... before i got on here and read about all ur guys marriage theory, i totally thought that it was about frodo and the ring from Sam's perspective. b4 u all laugh at me, it totally makes sense. they talk about destiny and fate a ton in that movie/book. it even mentions the ring. someone agree with me so i dont sound crazy :) no really though. do u think my theory could be correct

i never thought about this song that way, but i think it can totally apply. Love doesn't always have to be expressed in a romantic way, Sam's loyalty to Frodo through thick and thin is a remarkable example of love between friends.

that's the cool thing about Dustin's lyrics, they have different levels and layers of meaning. He may have written this song for his wife, but he wrote it in a way that can be interpreted universally.
