Every once in a while I come across a song that zeroes in on all of my senses.
I can close my eyes and feel everything.
My filmy white dress is fluttering in the breeze coming off the ocean. I can feel the mist from the tide collecting on my face and arms. I take a deep breath and fill my lungs with the thick, salty air. The full moons light is cascading onto the sand, there is an eerie glow that comes from a night with a moon like this, it seems to settle amongst the sand, drape itself onto the rocks and driftwood. It's very early morning (probably two o'clock) the reflection of city’s lights are rippling in the tide, I can see a cargo ship lazily drifting on the horizon it’s light and the surreal moonlight being it’s guide.
hahaha, I really don't know where that all came from.
(did anyone else notice that the guitar sounds "oceanish"? It just makes me think of a tide coming in)
