My father has this, and the song really hits home.

It's common for kids with a Borderline parent to be thought of as lying
about their parents behavior.
Absoutely... everything about this song, to me, implies the hardships of dealing with someone with the disorder. It's like he's in love so he's trying so hard to do what he can to help... but she doesn't appreciate it or takes it for granted... or unable to even tell.
