I'm surprised no one's commented on The Knife's slightly incorrect translation of the word "pen" here. Pencils are the ones that are sharpened, but the Swedish word for both pens and pencils are the same unless specified, i.e. adding the word "ink" before it (pen). Not like it's that important, but still noteworthy.
...unless they realized that a title such as "Like a Pencil" would sound retarded, thus doing all this intentionally.

I thought they used pen because it's impossible to sharpen a pen, as to say like the impossible state they want to "sharpen their body" but i suppose i was wrong.

I might be grasping at straws here, but you know those old pens that you actually have to dip in the ink with the really sharp points? here, I thought the knife were saying "Sharpen my body" as in, tone down, fit the standard, mainstream version of beauty which is to be super skinny like one of those pens that you dip in the ink.
