I love this song! It has such an uplifting melody and Norah Jone's vocals are so peaceful and beautiful. But I actually think that this song is about a couple falling apart. Here's my lyrical analysis lol

She is saying that even though its at night he has that "morning tired" look in his eyes as if he were exhausted or defeated.
