Well I just saw Shinedown live at a very small club and they were amazing. I have been listening to The Sound of Madness since it was released and know practically all the lyrics by heart. This particular song was my favorite from the beginning and even though I know the lyrics when he sang it tonight it really hit home with the fact that you have to live your life by your rules and not worry about approval from your parents. I actually broke down and cried. You have to take chances in life and go for your dreams whatever they may be.
I cried too, especially when I saw the music video for this...I'm kind of in the same situation, my parents don't let me do anything I actually want, I have to live by their messed up rules...
