I think its about a doorman/bouncer and how he feels by getting to decide who gets in the club and who doesn't. Like he's on an ego trip getting to turn away ugly girls and guys. Its door policy for certain clubs to mainly let attractive women in, turn away not so nice women and turn away most guys. Especially guys not with an attractice woman.

Thank god somebody else caught the whole bouncer thing. It's especially apparent in the first few lines talking about "It's always the same, always a game, storytelling, when I can't come in", explaining how when he "bounces" people or turns them they try to plead with him to let them in or make up stories about knowing famous people or whatever.
