Lyric discussion by kimyoungjin

Saying people are looking too deep and that it means nothing beyond what words are presented is just ignorant. Groups like Daft Punk and many other talented lyricists and artists take time to create meaning behind their lyrics by using carefully chosen words and how they arrange these words. It's true the general public just looks for catchy beats and words to sing to and don't care to look into what the artists are really trying to say. No one's asking them to or criticizing them for enjoying music that way. But to say there's the words in the song and nothing more is ignorant and, i believe, kind of insulting to the artists who put a lot of effort into their work. An example of a song that might go slightly deeper than you think is Only One by Yellowcard. The sentences of the song are actually broken by the way he sings it and carries a completely different meaning when you read the sentences as you would speak them.

Anyways regarding this song... something no one's brought up. The only word in the song that's not a verb used in a command is the word quick (the second quick should actually be quit). Very subtle but it describes the entire feel of technology and what actions it involves.
