I personally think that this "she" that Stephan's talking about it is America, and I think he's talking about how America's changed and doesn't say what it means for fear of its global repercussions, when it was its outspoken people with the desire to not be tamed that originally won us the freedom to be Americans in the first place. I love Third Eye Blind, one of my favorite bands, got a tattoo of "deeper than bones" on my shoulder. I'm so glad they're back.
