MogeAndDog, I completely agree with you! I just watched 'Tess of the D'urbervilles' yesterday, and immediately thought of this song. It's almost like it was made for that book, even though there are a few parts that don't fit perfectly, but still. At first I thought it described Angel & Tess well, but after listening to the song a bit more, it just screamed Alec D'urberville to me. He raped Tess and in some twisted way thought she loved and wanted him too. Incredibly tragic and depressing story, but worth watching/reading in my opinion.

Anyway, this is one of the best songs I've heard in a long time.
