I love and agree completely with drewdc's imterpretation. Being an actor myself (and a fan of Shakespeare, no less - "all the world's a stage" comes from As You Like It, by the way) makes me enjoy it even more.
But the main thing I came here to say was that the opening piano reminds me of the opening of Vanessa Williams' "Colors of the Wind" from Disney's Pocahontas, which, coincidentally, also came out in 1995. They're clearly different melodies, but I swear each song's opening reminds me of the other. Both songs are great, though.
