i think its about a girl falling for a girl and she wants to tell the whole world. she is obsessed with her, and compares her to god. although the other girl may not feel the same, or feel too scared to come out "she says she needs a priets, wants to get closer to god" bc being gay is a sin. and she feels as though what she feels is wrong.
although the other is saying "you are my angel, you are my god. don't worry about what others think"
"fashions isnt dead. no its just inside out" is hard.
but it may refer to the fashion of coming out. and also how its not fashionable or 'popular' to be gay. which could be a reason while one of the girls is afraid to show her love.
