While it's possible the song does not take it's name from the movie - given Danzig's repertoire it seems only logical that it does - particularly given the age of the movie. However, i have seen this movie (which is an excellent WWII flick) and it offer absolutely NO help whatsoever for decoding Danzig's esoteric and always intriguing lyrics. Though, in the movie they have to reach a Nazi fortress which is extremely dangerous to get to, and be inside of - now if this is some whore, or whores that Glenn is talking about - you ask me and their "omelet of disease" sounds pretty damn dangerous to be inside of.

The LOGICAL explanation for this song is found in the various meanings of the phrase "where eagles dare", like the meaning; to be so ambitious as to lack hubris. To challange the Gods themselves (or maybe Fascists?), like Icaros. Or simply; eagles fly at an altitude where no other bird can go, and they try and get even higher (as to challange the Gods themselves?).
