Omg lifegrdsten I COMPLETELY understand what you mean!! I studied abroad in Spain this past semester and all of my friends who I made there live far from me now so it's like the only people who would really understand... in a way are gone. Everyone's like "So how was Spain" to which all I can really say is "Amazing" or some variation of that answer. It sucks because it's like there are these 4 months during which I had some of the best times of my life and I can't really share it the way I want to- not that I even really know where to start when I haven't talked to someone much for an entire semester... Anyway, this might sound strange but if you want to talk or anything, I know exactly how you feel!

I have just returned a few days from my year away in Canada, and this is exactly how I'm feeling, I knew this would happen and I tried my best not to let the feelings get the best of me, but I can't help it.

So I just wanted to say thank you, becaus of your posts, I thought of this song in this way and now when I'm missing my life abroad I have something to turn to for some comfort...
I know you wrote this way back in 2008 so I hope it gets easier and better to adjust back to life, I really really hope so
