i think that the word is "love". "quiet thought" referring to how they thought they were in love and "quiet word" referring to saying that you love somebody.

I think it is love. "It started out as a feeling," of course it could be something just as powerful. But for me, love starts out as a feeling, then i kinda hope i actually am in love and the one i love is just as in love with me. I tell people, tell myself, and eventually, if it lasts long enough, evryone hears like "it's a battlecry." I love this song it's so beautiful. good question too! ^_^

'Til they're before your eyes" He is talking for me about the inmortality of his soul... of our souls... I am not religius at all... havent been in church for 5 years maybe... it just occured to me when i listened to that song.
