This song is great- the high voices are unexpected, and the melody is catchy.

The song is called "Solo Impala"- and because it talks about a car, I'm guessing the Impala is a Chevy Impala- and the solo means that there is only one person in the car.

"Stop the car, and leave it running bad mistakes are waiting in the trunk" I think the car represents a relationship that has gone too far. The singer is asking his girlfriend to stop progressing in the relationship and just leave things as they are. The bad mistakes in the trunk could be buried feelings or a shaky past they they both had- maybe the girlfriend originally left the singer, but then came back and fell in love with him.

"and ive tried and i could take the money and run and leave you like you left me all along but it's not my style" The singer thinks about ending the relationship, and getting revenge for his broken heart, but he isnt the kind of guy to do that.

"I-I-I-I-,I could be I-I-I-I-, and i could I-I-I-I-,I could be" He's thinking about the fact that he could be in love with his girlfriend- that's why he wants to stop the car. Maybe the relationship is moving too fast for him.

"Dont look back for a second now we're not suppose to feel this way but god it's so sweet of you." The singer is telling his girlfriend not to think about the past, because according to the past, they shouldnt be together. She should not have feelings for him, but she does, and her feelings affect the way he feels about her.

"stop the car and wait a minute til the police stop chasing us around" He again wants to slow down the relationship, but he says 'till the police stop chasing us around'. Maybe his friends or her friends were giving them a hard time about getting back together, and he wants the relationship to slow down so that his friends will get off of his back.

"im so tired and your tied in the backseat but im sure we will get out of this somehow" The singer is tired of being in a relationship with his girlfriend because of the baggage (trouble in the trunk) and his friends teasing him (police), but he cant stop because she is tied to him because she is in love with him. She is in the 'backseat', meaning the the singer is driving the relationship, and she is helpless because she's in love with him. He considers being in love with her- and thinks that it will work out between them.

"ahhhh, just take the money and run i could be ahh, just take the money and run i could ahh, just take the money and run i could be. " This is the conflict. Part of him is thinking 'I could be (in love)', but the other part of him wants to 'take the money and run (out of the relationship)'. It's the internal tug of war that he faces that makes this song so powerful.

Plus, the melody rocks. I love the subtle guitar riffs.
