I thought I was nuts but this is exactly what this song brings to mind for me...one part of a couple dying, the other knowing they are waiting for him 'beyond the sea', and that they will be together again in the afterlife. If you and I see it that way, then I am sure others do as well! Such a beautiful song, I love Bobby Darin's version the most.
