I love the meaning behind this song. In "Becoming one of you," Craig mentions that we're all of the same dirt. Everyone is always questioning an afterlife, but there is at least one certainity. Our bodies are made of dirt ("you came up off the ground from a million little pieces"), and as mentioned in this song as well as "when water comes to life," we consist mostly of water. These elements leave us when we die and bring life to others. It's a comforting thought and actually makes death seem like a beautiful cycle...to always be a part of and connected to everything...
