I believe that this song is merely a tribute to the giant monster who's lived as a hero for children and inner-children all over the world for over a half a century, no real deeper meaning behind it. However, Godzilla has always been a powerful metaphor for the destructive consequinces of man's practices, whether it be from nuclear power or pollution. "History shows again and again how nature points up the folly of man" is practically a quote from the movies.
