I think it's about a complicated relationship, or the end of a relationship. You know, those weird weeks when there is "break-up sex" or two people don't love each other anymore but can't break up because they are so used to each other.The reason why i think this is this verse:
"Come on over
be so caught up its all about compromise."
To me that says to the person to basically ignore the problems "down the line" and do the same wrong again, which is hanging on to a relationship that shouldn't be. And there are almost no reasons to do so anymore, it's just "all about compromise".
