i think this is about a woman whos been hurt in the past and in order to stop herself from getting hurt shes closed her heart off to the world. Until she met this man that made her melt and see love in a different light again.
But like the others he hurt her, her friends are warning her about him, saying hes bad, but now that shes opened herself up and fallen in love shes just doesnt know how to stop. She doesnt want to hear the bad because hes her everything.

I think that you're right but thinking deeper it could be one of those situations where people who were victims of psychological abuse are prone to future psychological abuse. I'm assuming that "bad guy" would refer to this.
