I've hated every one of Mat Kearney's songs up to this point. It's a beautiful song.
I think it's meaning is generally about how the singer is inspired and lifted up by another person and they are mutually there for each other. The other person's going through a hard time and he's just saying that it'll be okay and kind of talking about how that person makes him feel better and calms him down as well. They're just eachother's support systems (doesn't even have to be a romantic relationship) and he's just being there for another person.
