Lyric discussion by naivada

HAHAHA now talk about a pissed off reception for a piece of music! yeah music that's what it IS and what a stunning piece of delightful noises what better way to iritate the sad conformity in narrowed ears/tight asses dear progrock fans?? ^^ you just go to love the guys of Genesis even more for what they did here, redusing to play safe and pompeous, they are (they were) true great artists trying new things out and express a certain madness or absurdity is for these reasons completely expected. not talking about milkmen here, nor institualised entretainers. for the sake of it Ive put the record on and well I just felt hilare, hearing this starting with what sounds like a big nightmarish effect.. throwing up all over one big fat and messy drumbeat.. right there that's enough! you've got to be furiously offended hahaha and it gets so much worse as soon as phil comes in oh lord! .. these lyrics ;complete non sense!' there we have it. the worst track in all the history of music ladies and gentlemen! :D

So FUNNY how some people just don't get it however much you try to make it clear the thing is done with a tongue in cheeck approach, isn't it? so well if you think you've got a right hate it with all your passion ( if that's an actual thing you do know and have in you.?..) trash it for its unusual form, for its absence of 'normality', and point out how way too repetitive this is.. (even tho its made out on pupose. obviously you would get that.but hey) still, no need to make all that much of a fuzz...and relax next on the record comes right after the nice and easy 'man on the corner' lol

I"m glad they had the guts to record produce etc this thing, because here's a tune (not so tuneful I consede) but never the less this makes a great job ar playing with the nerves of musical fascists, big wonderful awkward sounds in a mix of humour and a more than welcomed sense of adventure.

Genesis middle finger those who leave it, have taken it, and obviously far too hard hahaha
