The woman wants the man to give up everything he has, but he won't do that. So he tells her to get out of his life. "This is not where you belong", I believe is aiming at him telling her that he's not right for her.
And her motives are for him to give up his whole life and everything he has to satisfy her. And he's "headstrong", which is why he's saying no. He's not going to be bossed around. He knows that she's not right for him. Just a theory. Please don't shoot it down.
