I'm 37. The first time I heard this song, I was at work, hating every minute of my job and the Nazi pricks I work for. I was driving down the road, making local deliveries when I heard it on an alternative station. It INSTANTLY cheered me up and motivated me to do something better with my life. About two months later, I'm at a new job and things are going well. I know the song is basically about the government, but it can also be applied to anyone that oppresses others and keeps them from enjoying life. I'd never heard of Sum41 until that day, but I'm glad I did. I think this song did a lot for me.
