This song is not about him being in love with both a male and a female.. I don't know if everyone has not seen this video or seriously listened to this song or what..
but anyway (this is totally besides the fact that in numerous interviews Davey Havok has attempted to tell people he is indeed not bisexual, but does like how his songs help bisexual people deal with being that way.)
Anyway,
I believe it's from a male and female perspective.. the first and third verses are from the perspective of the female.. the second is from Davey, (or other significant male)'s perspective.
the lyric "it's in the blood" has absolutely nothing to do with vampires.
It means that their partner was chosen for them.. through fate.. through family.. through whatever.. before they were even born.
If anyone has seen the video to this song.. in the end she goes underneath the water and Davey sinks to the bottom.. I'm pretty sure he's dying..
it basically means through the whole relationship the girl was trying extremely hard and the male was distant from her..
