When I first heard this, it was my least favorite song on the album, the intro reminded me of a crappy new local band who are trying to do a solo. & then one day it just clicked.
I think the chorus is about just doing what you want & being what you want to be, and making sure that every decision is what you want to do, and making sure it's real.
& the "what the fuck do you know" makes she's thinking to somebody like her parents who are trying to give her advice because they're older than her, but she's doing what she wants, because it's what she wants to do & she's being herself.
