Lyric discussion by donbertk

This is an excellent song, one of Tally's best. I don't really think this song's supposed to mean anything. It's just a bunch of words that sound good together. This is supported by the line that says "Lonely paperbacks that wanted just a taste of feeling to implode them before living".

at first i agreed with this... however that is not the line i would have chosen to support this theory..

"bumble mumble make the rounds no matter what you'll seem profound"

it's like they are saying

'look, we threw a bunch of words together, and it seems so profound that you all seek a deeper meaning!'

then they continue with

"it's useless just to worry" < stop reading so deep into it "something normal happens somewhere far away in clouds" < there is nothing magical going on

Idk, I think Tally Hall has a tendency to not make sense because they want the listener to unpack the lyrics their way. So I guess in a way yeah?
