a sense of wonder, only slightly used, that has got to be the saddest thing ever. he's selling his sense of wonder, his childlike innocence, and he barely even used it while he had it. just another kid rushing to be an adult who looks back and wishes he could have enjoyed it while it lasted. but now he's got to give it all away, it's too late.
