I don't think this is a typically cryptic Radiohead song. It is, in fact, about a man asking a woman to leave her loveless marriage (house of cards), he in turn will do the same thing and then they will be together.

The 'your ears should be burning' line refers to the fact that he is always talking about her, and the 'denial' part is because she has stayed in a bad relationship and hasn't become this guys' lover. I agree, it's about a man (possibly/probably Yorke) who wants a woman to leave her "House of cards" marriage & he'll build his own uncertain, unsteady "House of cards" relationship with her. Only, I think it's either taking place at or he met her at a swinger party, hence "Throw your keys in the bowl, kiss your husband goodnight. He wants her badly enough that he'll take the risk of building a relationship with her, uncertain if she'll leave out the same door she came in.
