This definitely has to do with his relationship with Jesus. I'm not quite sure what religion Jeff Tweedy is; this could reflect his feelings as a Christian and how Jesus was a badass mothafucka, or if he is Athiest (like I am) he could just sort of being joking around and not really trying to send a message. Either way, it's a damn good song.
