Well... this song is an... interesting new approach for Muse. I HATED it the first time I listened to it, but now I actually think it\'s alright.

My interpretation is that it\'s about a guy who falls in love with a celebrity, or a \"superstar\", and thinks this person is amazing, then the superstar leaves this person, and the person left alone wishes them to either feel the pain they feel, get physically hurt, or die, as evendenced by the \"Supermassive black hole\" metaphor.

Of course, I could be totally off. Oh well.

This song is older than the movie though. Could of course be about the book, but I'm guessing it's not and that the movie simply used the song because they found it fitting.

yeah, smeyer likes muse so they used this song for twilight but in no way did muse write in because of the books or movie. check your timeline, D.B. is right.

Sorry, but I can't stand people who only like something because it was in a fan girl movie like Twilight. Muse are one of the best bands on the planet, and deserve more respect than to have teenage fan girls lust over them because a song was in Twilight.
