I love this song... it's so beautiful, yet kind of sad. Maybe I'm wrong about the song (hopefully not! :D)... but.... I think that the person the singer is talking about wants the typical 'fairy tale' romance, but I think they're trying to rush things and get that sort of love right now, whereas things like that take time and you just have to go with the flow. The singer on the otherhand knows that you have to wait for something like that, and in the meantime, they're going to add a little bit of a twist to the romance (I'm adding something new to the mixture/So there's a different hue to your picture/A different ending to this fairytale/When the sunset into which we sail). I don't know... I just like this sort of idealistic sort of love with a dash of unconventional-ness added... maybe that's just me.
