Last yr. a dear friend of ours, a wacky, fun, devil-may-care pransker with a heart of gold, a loving father of 2 girls, and a very talent musician took his own life while walking his dogs in a local park. Should everyone our friend had left behind to cope with his unexpected passing as much as I had decided to gather together for a graveside celebration of life to honor his memory and provide his surviving friends and relatives a chance to come together for mutual support and healing, this song would make a fitting tribute to our friend who felt the need to leave us so soon.
I'm sorry to hear that. I know it's six years after the events but I hope you all gave him a good send off. I also hope that you're all coping with the loss. Time may heal but of course you never fully get over something like that, you just keep on and learn how to deal with it. Not that I want to be depressing, loss is tragic but an inescapable part of life, as you know.
